It’s All About The Accessories
The weather STILL has no idea what it’s doing, and if you’re anything like me, the cold and rain means that you’re not quite ready to start buying for your Spring wardrobe just yet.

BROOCHES
I fell in love with this stunning Gucci brooch whilst styling a client. She had it in her collection and I knew I had to own one myself. After scouring Europe, they managed to find the very last one, it wasn’t easy, but being a tenacious stylist helps!
However the very best place to find cool, favourably priced and super interesting brooches are in vintage shops. I found this little beauty @blackout2vintagefashion in Covent Garden. A brooch can add instant interest to everything from sweaters, blazers, rain macs and overcoats.
BELTS
Belts are quietly stealing the show this season and I’m loving the clinched waist look. For February 2026, belts are wider, more fun, more elaborate, and look great over coats, knits, and blazers. They’re not just practical, they’re shaping silhouettes and adding polish instantly.
SCARVES
For me, scarves have always played a big part in my life. Whether in my hair when I was slightly younger or round my neck, but most days during winter, and having short hair, I need my neck to be warm. So this look is a win win, apart from looking fabulously accessorised, they also add a stylish warmth to any outfit.
