I know you’re thinking “hang on a minute, it’s still hot, hot, hot outside”, and how right you are. As I’ve said many times before, it could be time to change our manufacturing policies  and in turn the way we buy our clothes. After all, by the time the 2nd week of August arrives, most of the sales have finished – so summer, as far as retail is concerned, is well and truly over. Within the designer world, the Autumn collections have been trickling in for a good few weeks now. While highstreet stores still have a rail or two of bright summery pieces, the majority is now darker tones and thicker fabrics. But let’s face it, who wants to wear wool trousers in August!!
