Whichever it is one things for sure, your pool/beach side cover up is of the utmost importance, after all you will be spending the majority of your holiday semi naked so you need to feel confident. Whether your 5ft or 5ft 10 you will have parts of your body you want to show and parts you’d rather hide. Which is it for you?
- Your legs – top middle, bottom or all
- Your tummy – upper or lower or both
- Your upper arms
- Your chest area – how much to show
- Your bottom
A strong look this summer is The Kimono – And can be in many forms.
Some of the most popular kimono styles are long and flowing to the ground in order to hide everything or long and flowing but cleverly transparent so you can see your outline but without showing too much skin. Shorter styles with a ‘cold shoulder’ or side slits are also especially fashionable this year.
Poolside is the perfect time to wear light and loose garments in a lacy fabric so you can see skin but it gives a camouflage effect. The lightweight material can look stunning on top of a bikini or short shorts and flip-flops for that effortless day at the pool look!
Be prepared for a lovely long lunch with linen harem pants or a long floaty skirt and bikini top.
If you’re eating ‘Al Fresco’ ensure you’ve still got sun protector on even if you’re under a canopy as the sun’s position will be changing all day.
